Last February, Grasshopper Manufacture released its latest title, ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN (8 articles)” href=”https://www.gematsu.com/games/romeo-is-a-dead-man”>ROMEO IS A DEAD MANand celebrated its 28th birthday in March. Thanks to the support of players around the world, ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN received great acclaim and excellent reviews. Our entire studio would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who enjoyed the game and to everyone who worked tirelessly to make its release possible.
After finally completing this project on all levels, as we thought about the next step in Grasshopper Manufacture’s future, we discovered a strong desire to bring titles in an even greater variety of styles to video game enthusiasts around the world. As such, Grasshopper Manufacture has chosen to move forward as an independent developer once again.
This decision was made after extensive discussions with NetEase Games and thanks to their generous cooperation. We continue to cherish the extraordinary relationships our companies have built and look forward to continuing our collaboration when the opportunity arises. Having improved our own self-publishing know-how, we now have a wide range of options and, regardless of how our games can be published, we remain committed to creating unique titles featuring the “NO GAME NO LIFE” gaming experience expected from Grasshopper Manufacture with our own flavor and further enhanced quality.
