We’ve long known when Grand Theft Auto 6 will come to PlayStation and XBOX consoles, but its PC status is still up in the air. However, one of the most recognizable analysts has stated when GTA 6 will come to PC.
Grand Theft Auto 6 releases for PS5 and XBOX Series X|S on November 19. No more delays. It happens. PlayStation and XBOX owners can begin the first of hundreds of thousands of hours in Rockstar’s new world, while PC owners watch from the shadows.
Is GTA 6 coming to PC between April and June 2027?
Industry analyst Michael Pachter was recently interviewed by the BBC about GTA 6. During the conversation, Pachter discussed Grand Theft Auto 6’s platforms and the fact that it is not an exclusive title.
But not only did he announce that the game would be coming to PC, which we know, he also gave a pretty specific timeline:
“The game is not exclusive to PlayStation 5, it’s also coming out on XBOX Series (X|S), and in about 6 or 7 months it will be out on PC. A lot of people are going to have access to it, but the boom for Sony right now is that people have to have a console if they want to play it at launch.”

We recently reported the claim that GTA 6 was scheduled for release on PC in Q1 2027, which would almost match Pachter’s prediction, but the analyst disagrees. always It’s true, so take this statement with a pinch of salt.
This follows another analyst’s claim that GTA 6 could cost the US economy $1 billion! For comparison, GTA 5 was released on September 17, 2013 and it took almost two years before the PC version launched.
This is a much shorter window, but if true, it’s better news if you’re a PC owner waiting to unleash your wild, criminal side.
Do you think Pachter’s estimate will be accurate? Or does this seem too soon for a PC port? Let us know what you think on the Insider Gaming Discord server.
