Is it really Halloween without Heidi Klum?

The supermodel, who has become known for her extravagant costumes, is back for another year of her annual Halloween party, this time choosing to dress up as a realistic-looking severed human hand.

At last year’s party, Klum dressed as the mythological monster Medusa, complete with a headpiece adorned with writhing snakes and a trailing tail, while her husband, Tom Kaulitz, introduced himself as an ancient Greek soldier who she had turned to stone. It ultimately took a team of 15 artists to create her costume, Klum said. Variety during the 2025 event.

“You still need people creating moments with real people… to me it’s like beautiful art,” she said. When asked about her elaborate look, she shared: “It’s only good for the night. Tonight. It’s all lost, so to speak, in the shower.”

This year’s celebration marked the 25th anniversary of Klum’s Halloween party. Some of her past looks include notable characters such as ET, Fiona from “Shrek,” Jessica Rabbit and the werewolf from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” as well as creatures like a peacock, a worm and a butterfly.

Earlier this year, Klum hosted the 22nd season of “Project Runway,” where she also served as a judge alongside Nina Garcia and Law Roach. Klum returned to the fashion competition series last year after leaving it in 2018. Before her departure, she hosted the show for 16 seasons since its 2004 debut on Bravo.

Alongside Tim Gunn, Klum created a new fashion competition called “Making the Cut” for Prime Video in 2020, which ran for three seasons.
