After years of requests, Five Nights at Freddy’s is coming to Fortnite for its Fortnitemares event. Here are all the skins and its release date.

It took years and it’s no longer a meme: Five Nights at Freddy’s officially arrives Fortnite for its annual Fortnitemares event, which always adds a host of new horror villains to the game. This one has been a long, long time coming.
After a long teaser campaign leading up to the reveal, we now have our first look at Five Nights at Freddy’s In Fortnite thanks to this new official trailer, which gives a glimpse of the skins and how they will be included in the game. Obviously, the game’s crazy take on Chuck-e-Cheese, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, is a key component.
We also have a list of everything being added for the crossover, all the skins and cosmetics. Here is the list:
Five Nights at Freddy’s Skins + Withered Styles:
Beauty products
- Freddy kicks and backpacks
- Chica and Bonnie backpacks
- Cosmetics
- Emotes (not seen yet)
Gameplay
- You can transform into bosses from Five Nights at Freddy’s and hunt other players.
- There is a FNAF POI that includes jumpscares
- There are security camera feeds in this POI
That may not be the whole story yet, but that’s what we officially know from both sides. Fortnite himself and certain fugitives.
Even though it’s not October yet, Fortnitemares is in full swing as we already have a long list of skins for this event, including: Beetlejuice, Chucky, The Purge, The Exorcist and maybe even Obsessiondespite the fact that it was only released less than six months ago.
Five Nights at Freddy’s Collab release date
It’s October 1, 2026, as Fortnitemares begins, so it’s only a few days away now.
Why did this collaboration take so long after being requested for so many years? One theory is that FNAF creator Scott Cawthon, notoriously protective of the use of intellectual property, was hesitant given that Fortnite isn’t exactly a horror game, and it doesn’t “fit” a collaboration with Dead by daylight did. But whether or not that was the case, the details were finally ironed out, and not just for cosmetics, but for a full map event with a POI and character transformation gameplay element.
Given Fortnite Given the strong demographics of Generation Z, it seems likely that the FNAF the collaboration is going to be a big success, especially considering the length of his request. We’ll see how it goes on October 1st.
