Hilary Swank is pregnant!

THE Yellow vests The 52-year-old actress is expecting her third baby with husband Philip Schneider. Swank shared the exciting news with an adorable and creative video on Instagram.

In the clip, Swank’s family dances with the lights off with glow sticks stuck to their bodies. As her husband and twins dance, Swank appears with a baby bump featuring a little baby dressed in a glow stick.

“A lot of people ask me what project I’m doing next, this one is coming out in December. 😉👼🏼🫶🏼,” she captioned the video, hinting that it should arrive this winter.

Swank became a mother for the first time when she welcomed her twins Aya and Ohm in April 2023.

While speaking with PEOPLE about her lobbying efforts for California’s bill AB 1901, which calls for more transparency in diaper ingredients, the Million dollar baby The actress shared that she enjoyed Mother’s Day surrounded by her family and was in a “really lucky position” to be able to spend time with her children the way she wanted.

Swank shared that it “just worked” to have her children later in life because she can “be so present” with them.

“It turned out I was having babies much later in life,” she said. “It’s not that I didn’t want them sooner. There were a lot of things that stopped this from happening, and so I can definitely make time to be with them.”

She added, “I feel like I have a lot of Mother’s Days other than the actual Mother’s Day because I get to be so present with them.”

Reflecting on her decision to have her children later in life, the actress shared that she was much more career-focused in her early years, saying that didn’t leave her much room to take care of other things in life. She added that her acting career was “such a baby” that she eventually devoted herself entirely to developing her craft.

“I knew I wanted kids one day, but I didn’t anticipate what that would look like,” she told PEOPLE. “I know it’s so different for everyone, but for me, if I had had a child in my 20s or 30s, I think I would be a much different parent than I am today.”

“I feel like I have this extra ability to really give them my attention in a way that I wouldn’t have as much at that time, because it would have been pulled between the two in a very distinct way,” Swank continued. “In my career being so well-established, I have the ability to step in and step out whenever I want, and that’s such a blessing.”

Swank said she “couldn’t have planned this” for it to happen like this, but she is grateful for the space she is in. Far The star explained that as an older mother, she has “a lot more patience and bandwidth” to raise her children, adding other reasons why having children later in life has made her the best parent she could be to her twins.

“I did a lot of work on myself,” she added. “One of the things that I think is important to being your best parent is to have done that work, to break all the cycles that you don’t want to pass on to your children, and I’ve done a lot of that work over time, so I haven’t had a lot of catch-up with that.”

Swank, who mostly keeps her little ones out of the public eye, said she still has work to do within herself. However, Swank emphasized that she is better equipped to handle whatever comes her way.

“I always do my job. Don’t get me wrong,” she said. “I’m certainly not a perfect human being. But I have the tools to deal with these things right at my fingertips rather than having to look for them while I’m at it.”

Swank told PEOPLE that she’s constantly learning to “be in the moment” from her children, noting that it’s not an easy task.

“One of the things I’ve always tried and strived for as a goal is to be in the moment, and it’s a lot harder than you might think,” she said. “My kids really taught me (that).”

“First of all, there’s no one better than them right now, right?” she added. “They’re just a perfect reminder of that, and I don’t want to lose sight of that.”
