iCloud+ keeps getting better, here’s what’s new for subscribers

iCloud+ is best known for adding iCloud storage, but Apple continues to improve and expand its range of subscriber benefits. Here are all the new features for iCloud+ added in recent weeks.

iCloud+ additions include free HomeKit Secure Video, Apple TV, and Arcade upgrades for many, higher AI usage limits, and more.

If you subscribe to iCloud+ or Apple One, you probably get more benefits than you think.

Beyond additional storage, iCloud+ includes features like Hide My Email, iCloud Private Relay, full access to Apple Invites, and more.

Here are all the new features for iCloud+ subscribers added in recent weeks:

• HomeKit Secure Video Upgrades: Ahead of new Home product launches this week, Apple has upgraded HomeKit Secure Video in several ways. Powerful new features in iOS 27 include 4K support, generated video descriptions, clip search, and standout clips.
• Custom email domain: If you run a small business or want to use personalized emails for your family or any other reason, iCloud+ lets you set up custom addresses for domains you own. You were previously limited to three custom email addresses, but now you can create up to 10 per domain.
• Apple TV and Arcade added in over 100 countries: This does not apply in the United States, but iCloud+ subscribers in more than 100 countries now get Apple TV and Arcade at no additional cost. This is a huge upgrade for many users that makes the service more evident in supported territories.
• Higher AI usage limits in iOS 27: Details aren’t clear yet, but when Apple unveiled iOS 27, it said some iCloud+ plans would include higher usage limits for AI features. We haven’t yet seen evidence that Apple is restricting access to AI features, but affected features include Siri AI, new photo editing tools, Image Playground, and more.

All of these improvements have been added without a price change for subscribers.
