Pacers playmaker Tyrese Haliburtonwho suffered a torn Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals and missed all of last season due to the injury, says he is fully healthy heading into training camp, writes Zion Brown of the Indianapolis Star (subscriber link).

“I am 100%“, Haliburton said Monday. “There will be no restrictions. This is not news, there is no source. I am the source. I’m fine, I’m ready to go for the year.”

Although Haliburton indicated he would not face any type of consecutive minutes or restrictions, head coach Rick Carlisle was a little more cautious in his assessment, according to Brown.

“I can’t tell you exactly what the charge will be” Carlisle said. “We will be in very lively communication on this subject with the training staff and with them. At this point, it really looks like he’s had a great recovery and return to play. …Don’t expect a lot of limitations. But we will make sure to move forward at the right pace.”

Haliburton and Carlisle said the star guard has put on some muscle since we last saw him on the court, Brown adds.

We have several other injury updates from across the NBA:

  • While Warriors guard Stéphane Curry acknowledged there was a “management element” to the runner’s knee injury that caused him to miss a prolonged period last season, he is optimistic it won’t bother him in 2026/27 and says he has no limitations at the moment, tweets ESPN’s Anthony Slater. “The knee is fine. Ready to go“Curry said.”No problem. …I feel much stronger and understand what I’m facing.”
  • Lakers guard Luka Doncicwho missed the 2026 playoffs due to a hamstring strain, says the injury is now behind him, according to NBA reporter Mark Medina (Twitter video link). “I feel good” Doncic said.I feel rested. Mentally, I feel good. I can’t wait (for the season) to start.” When asked if he had any restrictions, Doncic replied: “No.”
  • Bradley Bealwho was limited to just six games played in 2025/26 due to season-ending hip surgery, is clear of the ailment, according to Law Murray of The Athletic (Twitter link). However, the Clippers The guard is battling knee inflammation and will not be ready for the start of training camp, which opens tomorrow in Hawaii. Beal also suffered from knee inflammation last fall, although it’s unclear if the injuries are related.
  • Bulls guard Josh Giddey has no restrictions after offseason ankle surgery, tweets Joel Lorenzi of The Athletic. Head coach Tiago Separator expects all Bulls players to be ready for Tuesday’s training camp, except maybe the big man Zach Collinswho has an unspecified soft tissue injury (Twitter link via KC Johnson of Chicago Sports Network). Collins has suffered numerous injuries throughout his career and only played 10 games last season due to wrist and toe ailments.
  • While Wizards center/front Alex Sarr expects to participate in training camp this week, he won’t be doing any contact work, according to Josh Robbins of The Athletic, who adds (via Twitter) that the French big man believes he’ll be able to take full contact in about a week.
  • Backup Sixers center Adem Bona gave a minor update on his left foot sprain Monday, according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin (Twitter link). “The treatment went well. Actually, it’s going really well… I feel good“, said Bona, who confirmed that the injury occurred during the summer with the Turkish national team.
