Inside Crystal Hefner’s Final Breakup With Late Husband Hugh As She Accuses Her Ex Of Rape And Incest
Crystal Hefner has broken up for good with her late husband, Hugh Hefner, by dropping his infamous last name.
“My name is Crystal Harris and I fought back and forth because I was like, ‘OK, I kind of earned this name and if I could use this name to do good for the world or for women… But then I thought, I don’t want to be related to this man in any way,'” the former model – who hosts the “After the Mansion” podcast – told Page Six in an exclusive interview.
“I don’t even like that last name.”
Crystal, 40, graduated with a master’s degree in psychology on Nov. 6 and is working toward her doctorate.
“The last thing I want is for a doctor to be associated with the Hefner name,” she continued. “I’m going after Crystal Harris. And so I was happy and proud to kick off that family name.”
Crystal noted that “Hefner” had become her “identity for so long,” adding, “I don’t want to, I don’t want to be associated with that name or anything close to that name.” »
Hugh’s widow officially changed her last name to Harris in 2025.
On the “Lisa Guerrero Unleashed” podcast earlier this week, Crystal made disturbing allegations against her late husband Hugh, who died at age 91.
She claimed the businessman attempted to “push the heads of the twins (Kristina and Karissa Shannon) into each other’s vaginas to get them to engage sexually,” calling the alleged act “incest” and “disgusting.”
A representative for Kristina and Karissa did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment. However, Karissa previously claimed that having sex with Hugh was “like rape.”
Crystal also claimed that Hugh forced her and the other playmates to use dirty sex toys, saying, “I remember he took them out and one of them was black, double sided. You could see they were dirty and he would just grab us and grab our crotches and grab these dirty (sex toys) and just push them into us.”
A representative for Hugh’s estate did not respond to Page Six’s previous request for comment.
The former playmate also called out the “regulars” at the Playboy mansion.
“There were some really horrible, horrible men who came into the mansion,” Crystal told Page Six. “It was hard. Hef surrounded himself with like-minded men, including Bill Cosby, Donald Trump included, and it was very sad.”
She added, “We know Cosby is a regular. Bill Cosby hosted the Playboy Jazz Festival for many, many years. And I remember one day we were showing up at the Playboy Jazz Festival and usually we have to take a picture with Bill Cosby and it’s awkward and he was always disgusting.”
Crystal also revealed that the Playboy Mansion was nicknamed “Jack Nicholson’s drive-thru.”
She claimed: “He could drive up, there were women there, there was food there, and he would just grab what he needed and leave. We all know that this man is also known to be a regular, very regular visitor to the mansion.”
Crystal specifically called actor Jon Lovitz the Playboy Mansion’s “#1 customer,” saying he was “one of the biggest perverts” in Hollywood.
In a video obtained by Page Six, he responded to her claims: “Any time someone says I’m No. 1, it’s a compliment. » He called the late Playboy founder “one of the kindest and most generous people.”
A representative for Hugh’s estate did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
In Crystal’s interview with Page Six, she hit back at Lovitz for making fun of her: “I think Jon Lovitz is part of the problem. I think a lot of men who came into this mansion (and) were very sexist and misogynistic are all part of this problem.”
She added: “If I could dismantle a little bit of this toxic masculinity and patriarchy, I would feel happy. It’s very sad.”
Crystal was married to Hugh from 2012 until his death in 2017.
