OKLAHOMA CITY –

INTEGRIS Health, Oklahoma’s largest physician network, is joining a division of Kaiser Permanente.

Timothy Peherson, CEO of INTEGRIS Health, announced in this video that Integris has signed an agreement to become part of Risant Health, a nonprofit organization created by Kaiser Foundation Hospitals.

INTEGRIS is now the third health system to join Risant Health; the others are Pennsylvania-based Geisinger and North Carolina-based Cone Health.

According to the video, INTEGRIS Health’s medical staff, name and brand, and its management teams will all remain in place. The headquarters will also remain in Oklahoma City. The health care group says its mission will not change and that it will continue to work with other health plans, provider organizations and independent physicians.

“Being part of Risant Health means fulfilling our mission, working with people to live healthier lives, but faster,” Pehrson said. “This will be done by adding resources, proven, value-based care capabilities and investments in our hospitals and clinics, in growth, in technology and in clinical tools that will help our doctors and nurses better serve our communities. These are investments and capabilities that we could not make or develop on our own, not at this scale and not this fast.”

Risant Health will be the parent company. The company said its goal is to bring together like-minded organizations, increase more affordable access to value-based care, and raise the bar for approaches that bring the best health outcomes.

“We are excited to have INTEGRIS Health become part of Risant Health and join us in changing health care in this country,” said Greg A. Adams, president and CEO of Kaiser Permanente. “Together, Risant Health and its organizations are moving healthcare from episodic, siled care to a value-based care approach, with a greater emphasis on evidence-based care that achieves healthier outcomes for more people. INTEGRIS Health’s expertise in complex clinical services, combined with its experience in value-based care, provides the opportunity to continue to improve health and affordability for the population of Oklahoma.”

According to the press release, Risant Health, alongside Geisinger and Cone Health, have made progress in accelerating the transformation of healthcare delivery in America, including improving wait times and becoming more patient-focused.

Risant intends to continue this momentum with INTEGRIS.

The state House called this an opportunity to strengthen Oklahoma’s health care system.

“For Oklahoma, this combination has the potential to be transformative,” said Chad Warmington, president and CEO of the State Chamber. “A healthier workforce, better health outcomes and better access to quality, affordable care are all essential to making Oklahoma more competitive. We are excited about what this partnership could mean for our state and optimistic that it will help bring about meaningful and lasting improvements in the health and well-being of Oklahomans.”

All of this is awaiting regulatory approval and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027.
