At a Monday night rally for Donald Trump in Youngstown, Ohio, video showed a female protester being punched by MAGA supporters as the president joked about her weight.
The president was speaking about Democratic Ohio Senate candidate Sherrod Brown when the cameras caused a commotion in the crowd.
A protester, who appeared to be a woman, stood up and showed off a t-shirt that read: “Release the Epstein Files.” Several participants near her then began pulling on her clothes.
A man appeared to push her backwards. Another appeared to punch her in the face and pull her hair as the crowd chanted: “USA, USA, USA.”
Police eventually intervened and escorted the woman out of the Covelli Center as Trump began to comment on the situation from the podium.

“He’s a paid protester,” Trump said. “They’re all paid. They’re paid by leftists to destroy our country. They’re scum. But he’s going home to mom. He’s going home to mom.”
“Look at him,” the president continued. “Terrible. Don’t we love law enforcement? Oh, he needs to go on a diet! He’s a big guy. Wow, wow. You need to go on a diet quickly. We all do it.”
Asked by a TMZ reporter why she chose to protest, the person responded, “F*** Donald Trump.”
Clips of the incident went viral and were viewed millions of times. A number of commenters called for the violent participants to be arrested and urged the woman to press charges.
“Why wasn’t the person who attacked them arrested? » wrote user X.
“The men who hit this person should ALL be charged. And a big joke coming from him? That’s rich,” added another.

“She is attacked by a group of men and she is the one escorted by the police. What??” » asked political commentator Keith Edwards.
“I hope she presses charges,” one user wrote. Another added: “She needs to take legal action ASAP. Civil assault and battery.”
Some commenters, meanwhile, accused the woman of being a “paid agitator” and also mocked her weight.
A Mahoning County sheriff’s spokesperson said Tuesday that no arrests had been made, The associated press reported.
The incident comes less than a week after a Trump rally in Texas turned violent. On October 7, Trump was speaking to a crowd in San Antonio, when a person near the stage, apparently a protester, began shouting. At one point, a man grabbed this individual’s hair and pulled it to the ground.
“Let me ask you a question: Is there anything like a Trump rally? Is there anything like it?” Trump said from the stage. “I don’t think so.”
