iOS 27.3 changes the iPhone Duo keyboard, here’s how

The iPhone Duo has only been available for a few weeks, but Apple continues to improve the product with software improvements. The latest arrives in the iOS 27.3 beta via a handy keyboard update.
iOS 27.3 makes iPhone Duo’s outer screen keyboard more one-handed
If you’re one of the lucky early adopters who managed to get an iPhone Duo on or near launch day, you may have noticed that changes continue to arrive via software updates.
The iPhone Duo shipped with iOS 27.1, but a few days later, iOS 27.2 arrived and added support for Apple Pencil and Edge Light for video calls.
About a week later, the iOS 27.3 beta introduced even more changes.
Accessibility allows you to drag content on the external display to the left or right to make it more accessible. And as the beta profiles on X point out, the keyboard has also received an improvement.
Refreshing the keyboard with narrower keys and smaller font makes it easier to type on the iPhone Duo’s outer screen, especially one-handed.
It’s a subtle difference, but early testers found a marked improvement.
By combining keyboard changes with accessibility, iOS 27.3 delivers a notable improvement to the one-handed iPhone Duo experience.
Have you tried the new iPhone Duo keyboard in iOS 27.3? How does it work for you? Let us know in the comments.
