We’ve seen previews of iOS 27 running on the iPhone Duo, including a new sleep mode that activates even when the iPhone isn’t charging. Apple showed off the mode in press materials, but the leakier PDFU today shared a closer look at some of the options.
There are several StandBy faces available on the iPhone Duo, including five that we weren’t aware of.
A Home Camera view will display a single camera feed or a grid containing up to nine camera feeds. There’s a Home Modular option that likely displays smart home controls and a Snoopy-themed face.

Apple also appears to be adding a face called Flow that could have animations, and there is a face named Fade with no details available. The faces we have seen in marketing materials include analog, digital, classic calendar, weather, photos, memories, shared albums and modular.
A face editor will allow users to adjust the StandBy mode interface, choosing different styles and colors, similar to existing iPhone StandBy customization screens. Swipe gestures are available for quick visual adjustments.
There are five widget layouts to choose from for widget-enabled clock faces. Layouts include StandBy, Stacked, Top, Middle and Bottom.
The iPhone Duo will be available for pre-order on October 16 before launching on October 23, and we’ll likely see more details as the release date approaches.
