Hezbollah terrorists received $157 million worth of weapons in 2024, most of which were given for free by Iran, according to a new report from the nonprofit Israeli Center for Terrorism Financing Research (CENTEF).
The report, titled “Hezbollah Financial Statements,” draws on open source data as well as known assessments of Hezbollah’s military assets, according to the Jerusalem Post.
The report reveals that Hezbollah spent only $28 million on arms purchases, and that this was limited to small arms, ammunition, drone components, dual-use equipment, and equipment obtained through its international supply networks.

Meanwhile, CENTEF said Iran provided approximately $129 million in in-kind weapons, including rockets, missiles, drones, ATGMs, air defense systems, munitions, launchers, naval equipment and IED-related assets.
CENTEF’s analysis found that Hezbollah acquired 4,000 short-range Katyusha rockets, 400 Falaq-1 and 2 rockets, and 120 Burkan rockets in 2024. Short-range rockets are valued at $300 per unit, while Burkan rockets are valued at $400.

The report also details more sophisticated weapons obtained by Hezbollah, including the Iranian Fajr series and heavy rockets of Syrian origin. The Fajr-3 is a 240mm artillery rocket armed with a 45-kilogram warhead, while the Fajr-5 is a 333mm rocket with a GPS-guided Fajr-5C variant, according to the Post.
The cost of the rockets is estimated at between $2,000 and $10,000, and CENTEF estimates that Hezbollah will obtain 600 in 2024.

Anti-tank guided missiles constitute a significant part of Hezbollah’s arsenal. The research found that the Russian-made Kornet and the reverse-engineered Iranian Dehlavieh make up the bulk of Hezbollah’s ATGMs, with the former costing about $26,000 per round and the latter between $12,000 and $15,000, according to the Post.
Hezbollah has deployed much of its arsenal in its attacks on Israel over the past year, and Israeli forces have decimated the group’s leadership ranks.

“Today, Hezbollah has between 10,000 and 15,000 rockets, which is much less than before. Most of the range of sophisticated missiles, precision missiles and long-range missiles have either been eliminated or neutralized,” Zehavi said.
