Jaime King and Austin Sosa officially divorced
Jaime King is officially single again.
The “Sin City” star and Austin Sosa have finalized their divorce less than two years after secretly tying the knot, Page Six can exclusively reveal.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, a Los Angeles judge on Friday approved the dissolution of their marriage, restoring King and Sosa to single status.
The judgment also shows that Sosa reserved the right to seek alimony from King, while the court terminated its ability to award alimony to King from Sosa.
The former couple did not have any children together.
A representative for King did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Page Six previously reported that Sosa, 34, decided to expedite their divorce in June, filing an uncontested declaration of default or dissolution and declaring that the exes had no shared assets or debts to be divided by the court.
The investment banker initially filed to end his marriage to King in January, citing “irreconcilable differences” and listing November 11, 2025 as the separation date.
King, 47, exclusively told Page Six at the time that she was completely caught off guard by the decision.
“I was completely blindsided by the divorce filing, which came out of nowhere,” she told us.
“I was with Austin the night before this became public, and although, like many marriages, we were having normal difficulties, I truly believed we were working on our relationship,” she added.
The filing came shortly after Page Six exclusively reported that the “White Chicks” actress was spotted getting cozy with hotelier Vikram Chatwal during several outings in Los Angeles.
King, however, denied that there was anything romantic between her and Chatwal or that their outings had anything to do with the end of her marriage.
“All recent interactions mentioned publicly were strictly professional business meetings and had no connection to this private matter,” she told us at the time.
King and Sosa managed to keep their marriage completely secret before their breakup.
Page Six exclusively revealed in January that the couple had secretly married on April 23, 2025 — months before King publicly announced their engagement in July.
At the time of the engagement announcement, the actress’ rep said she was “entering a joyful new chapter” with Sosa and was “especially excited to share this moment with her children, who have a loving bond with Austin and his family.”
King shares sons James, 12, and Leo, 10, with her first husband, filmmaker Kyle Newman.
She and Newman finalized their contentious divorce in September 2023 after King filed to end their marriage in 2020.
The former couple then continued to fight for custody of their sons, with Newman eventually receiving sole physical custody in March 2025 after King failed to complete a court-ordered drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. The exes continued to share legal custody, while King was granted supervised visitation.
