Jennifer Lawrence has described the moment she took a tough stance after unauthorized crew members appeared on set during a nude scene.
The 36-year-old actress stressed that being “malleable” is “part of the job,” citing her dramatic hair transformation for the 2025 psychological drama. Die my lovebut noted that there were times when you had to put your foot down to protect yourself and others in the film industry.
She told the Call her daddy podcast: “There was an instance on set where crew members who were not approved when I was doing nudity were on set.
“I’ve been harsh on that, just because if we don’t establish that principle, then what the hell is going to happen to an 18-year-old stranger when she shows up and there are people on set who aren’t allowed (to be there)?
“She’s going to be in the position of, ‘Do I say something and get a reputation for being difficult, or do I let these people who I’m not comfortable with see me naked?’
“It was important for me to explain to people why this was not acceptable.”
Lawrence previously mentioned wanting to give director Lynne Ramsay, 56, “total artistic freedom” to Die my love.
Talk to Vultureshe said: “I don’t care about nudity. I’m not sensitive to it. I wanted Lynne to have complete artistic freedom.”

She noted that “being pregnant” with her second child while filming took away a lot of her “vanity anxiety.”
She added: “What was I going to do? Like not eat? I was working 15 hours a day. I was just tired.
“I remember they sent us a close-up of cellulite saying, ‘Do you want us to touch this up?’ And I was like, “No. He’s an asshole.'”
Meanwhile, Lawrence revealed her beauty goals in a cover interview with The cut.
Regarding her personal beauty goals, Lawrence admitted, “I want to be a hot mom.”
She added: “At filing time, I want to look like a woman who has her s*** together even when I just woke up and I don’t have my s**t together.”
The mother of two has previously opened up about cosmetic procedures and physical changes after motherhood.
These remarks follow a conversation with The New Yorker last October, where she admitted to considering breast surgery after the arrival of her second child.
She said: “Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one. Second one, nothing bounced back.”
She has since confirmed that she had a breast lift and is considering a future lift, having previously discussed using subtle amounts of Botox, which she referred to as “baby Botox” in Vogue.
