Jim Carrey marries longtime girlfriend Min Ah in private ceremony in Los Angeles
The “Yes Man” said yes.
Jim Carrey recently married his longtime girlfriend, Min Ah, in a small, private ceremony in Los Angeles, TMZ reported Wednesday.
The wedding comes seven months after Carrey and Min Ah made their public debut at the Caesars ceremony in Paris in February, where the “Bruce Almighty” actor, 64, accepted an honorary award.
Min Ah sat alongside her daughter Jane and grandson Jackson during the ceremony. Carrey shares Jane with his first wife, Melissa Womer.
During his acceptance speech, which he delivered in French, Carrey thanked his family before addressing Min Ah.
“Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane and my grandson Jackson. I love you now and always. Thank you to my beautiful partner, Min Ah. I love you, Min Ah,” he said.
Carrey and Min Ah have kept their relationship largely private.
They were first photographed together in February 2022 after leaving a charity comedy show hosted by Judd Apatow at the Largo in Los Angeles, People reported.
This marriage is Carrey’s third.
The “Truman Show” star married Womer, a former actress and Comedy Store waitress, in 1987. They divorced in 1995 and share a daughter, Jane, 38.
Carrey married his “Dumb and Dumber” co-star Lauren Holly in 1996. Their marriage lasted less than a year and ended in 1997.
He also dated model and actress Jenny McCarthy from 2005 to 2010.
The actor was later linked to his “Kidding” co-star Ginger Gonzaga. The couple made their red carpet debut at Showtime’s Golden Globes Nominees Celebration in January 2019 and split later that year.
Carrey also raised eyebrows after his appearance at the Cesar Awards in February, when social media users pointed out his change in appearance and speculated that he had plastic surgery.
His representative, Marleah Leslie, dismissed online claims that a “clone” or impersonator appeared at the ceremony in Carrey’s place.
“Jim Carrey attended the Cesar ceremony, where he accepted his honorary Cesar,” Leslie told Page Six on March 2.
