It goes without saying Jimmy Kimmel was a champion of Guillermo Rodriguez and his professional partner Witney Carson during their tenure on Dancing with the starsso he declared his indignation on Jimmy Kimmel live tonight, when the two were eliminated at the end of Tuesday night’s Super Bowl-themed episode.
Kimmel pointed out that, against all odds, Guillermo and Witney made it to Week 5 on Dancing with the stars and it was the toast of the internet.
“Last week, Guillermo and Witney had more than three times as many YouTube views as their closest opponent,” Kimmel said, using a chart showing Guillermo and Witney had 719,000 views, while Harry Shum Jr. And Jenna Johnsonwhich came in at #2, had only 231K.

Kimmel also showed numerous clips of news shows across the United States that supported Guillermo, as well as those from our neighbors to the North.
And then he got to the heart of the matter by saying: “Tonight, Guillermo and Witney danced a salsa for Bad bunnythe theme was the Super Bowl and the halftime show was as caliente as possible. In my book it was an 11 out of 10, but let’s see what these radical left-wing judges had to say.”
Jimmy Kimmel live then broadcast an excerpt of the judges’ scores:
Carrie Ann Inaba6. Derek Hough5. Joe Buck 6 Bruno Tonioli, 5 = 22 out of 40.
Kimmel then continued, “It was his highest score to date and once again Guillermo was in the bottom two and once again he was counting on you, the viewers, to push him through.”
Which, of course, didn’t happen, leading Kimmel to say, “What a kick in the disco balls.”
Next, Kimmel went live with Guillermo and Witney backstage at DWTS. Here is the conversation:
Jimmy: “This is a scandal. Will you accept the results or take legal action?”
Guillermo: “I think we should take legal action.”
Witney: “Absolutely.”
Jimmy: “Witney, your choreography this season has been absolutely incredible. The situations you’ve put Guillermo in, absolutely impressive. Honestly, you took that piece of clay and sculpted it into a masterpiece. What will you miss most about training Guillermo?”
Witney: “Oh, man, everything. He’s so adorable. He’s so loved by everyone. But Jimmy, now we don’t have this weird custody battle. You can have him now.”
Jimmy: “Are you just abandoning her like that?”
Witney: “I have to.”

Jimmy: “I was thinking of adopting you too, and then we could have a whole family here.”
Witney: “I would love that. Absolutely, I’m depressed.”
Jimmy: “Guillermo, did you achieve what you set out to do and what did you set out to do?”
Guillermo: “Jimmy, I said I was going to lose weight and I lost weight.”
Jimmy: “You lost weight and had a pregnant friend. Once again, Witney, thank you for taking such good care of Guillermo throughout this whole thing. Guillermo, you have brought so much joy to so many people and now we have nothing to look forward to. This better not be how it turns out halfway through.”
