Judge dismisses Timothy Busfield’s indictment for child sex abuse

A New Mexico judge on Friday dismissed actor and director Timothy Busfield’s indictment for child sexual abuse.

District Court Judge Joseph Montano granted Busfield’s motion to dismiss the grand jury indictment.

“The State, however, remains free to initiate further criminal proceedings against Defendant,” the filing states.

Busfield had been charged with four counts of criminal sexual contact with a minor.
