Kenneth Walker doesn’t shake hands with former Seahawks teammates after loss
Kenneth Walker III didn’t want to stick around and reminisce about his first game in Seattle on Sunday night.
The former Seahawks running back, who signed with the Chiefs during the offseason, rushed to the locker room before the clock even hit zero during Kansas City’s 20-3 loss to Seattle without shaking hands with members of his former team. It was the Chiefs’ first loss of the season.
Walker headed toward the Chiefs tunnel before a Lumen Field employee stopped him to say hello to a Seahawks staff member.
Walker didn’t have a good trip to Seattle, where he played the first four years of his NFL career and won a Super Bowl last season.
He had 14 carries and only 36 yards, with his longest run being just seven yards.
It was a stark contrast to the numbers he’s been putting up so far this season, with the running back recording over 110 yards in four of the first five games of the season while rushing for two touchdowns in the Chiefs’ previous two games.

Speaking to reporters last week before returning, Walker tried to downplay the trip back to Seattle.
“I’m just focused on criticizing the mistakes we made,” Walker said. “Once we get to that point, we’ll see.”
