Comments Off on Kevin Federline hit with staggering credit card bill after Britney Spears payments end

Kevin Federline is facing money problems now that his Britney Spears well has run dry – he’s been sued over a hefty credit card bill.

According to documents obtained by Page Six, the former backup dancer, 48, owes at least $117,704 in total to City National Bank, covering a credit card, line of credit and overdraft line.

Federline signed the deal with the bank in late November 2024, around the time the “Toxic” artist’s final child support payment landed in his account.

As we previously reported, Federline was initially receiving $40,000 per month in child support while raising their two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, in Hawaii.

After Sean Preston turned 18, the payments were then reduced to $20,000 and continued until Jayden James graduated from high school.

In his memoir, “You Thought You Knew,” Federline said these payments were for security and maintaining a standard of living the boys experienced with Spears, which “easily exceeded $40,000 a month.”

At one point, Federline was receiving $40,000 a month after their divorce. The divorced couple is shown above in 2006. Getty Images

“The money disappeared almost as soon as it arrived,” he claims in the book.

The lawsuit claims Federline had until August 2026 to pay off his credit card debt. Meanwhile, his personal credit line was due in June 2025, and his personal overdraft line was due two months earlier, in April.

The bank is not just looking for the note; he also wants Federline to repay unpaid accrued interest – 20.5% on the credit card, 7.5% on the credit line and 18% for the overdraft line.

Federline’s attorney did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Federline and Spears met in early 2004. They got engaged in July and married in California in September.

Spears filed for divorce in November 2006 and their separation was finalized in July 2007.

Federline has since moved on with Victoria Prince, whom he married in 2013.
