García, Francisco and Jesús were convicted last week of killing the Robinson brothers and Rhoad, a murder authorities say was committed in an effort to steal tires from the dead men’s truck.
“The attackers took out a gun they were carrying and killed the person who initially resisted the robbery, then the other two,” Baja California prosecutor María Elena Andrade said, according to an Associated Press report.
