Kimmarie Johnson, model and actress who appeared on “Beverly Hills, 90210,” “Dude, Where’s My Car?” and more, died Wednesday, November 4 after suffering a “cardiac accident” at her home in Los Angeles on October 27. She was 50 years old.

Johnson was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital and diagnosed with a “cardiac aneurysm.” “She radiated such a strong, bright light,” her niece Rhonda Scott said in a statement to People. “People who came in contact with her felt nothing but positive energy. We will miss her dearly and continue to honor her life forever.”

Johnson was also a model who won the title of Miss Pennsylvania and competed in the Miss USA beauty pageant in 1993. She was born on April 8, 1976, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She studied elementary education and child psychology at the University of California, Pennsylvania before moving to New York and pursuing a modeling career. After modeling for brands like Vidal Sassoon, Oscar de la Renta, and United Colors of Benetton, she won Miss Pennsylvania without any prior pageant experience. Johnson then finished in the top five in the 1993 Miss USA pageant.

In 1996, she moved to Los Angeles to continue modeling and begin her acting career. She landed her first major television role in an episode of “Beverly Hills, 90210” and her first film role in the 2000 comedy “Dude, Where’s My Car?” like “Alien Jumpsuit Chick #5”. She also appeared in “Carman: The Champion,” “The Summer of Massacre,” “VIP,” “Wanda at Large” and more.

In 2011, Johnson founded the skincare and beauty brand SkinGlow by Kimmarie.
