Kylie Jenner stole the show at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on October 18. Kris Jenner sat in the front row alongside her boyfriend Corey Gamble and Kylie’s boyfriend Timothée Chalamet. The trio supported the beauty mogul in their own way. While Chalamet screamed, Corey clapped and Kris readied her phone to capture her daughter’s new milestone.
In a behind-the-scenes video shared on the official Victoria’s Secret Instagram page, Kris Jenner hugged Kylie Jenner, who looked thrilled to have her mother there for the big day. The video’s caption read: “My proud mama can’t even begin to describe it.”
The KHY founder modeled the famous Fantasy Bra, becoming the first non-angel to don the iconic piece. The $50 million bra returned after eight years. It featured a yellow diamond centerpiece worth $22 million, in addition to 4,410 other natural diamonds.
Previously, Gisele Bündchen, Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel had the honor of posing on the podium.
In a conversation with Vogue, Victoria’s Secret Creative Director Adam Selman revealed why the brand chose Jenner to wear the Fantasy Bra.
He said: “Kylie really extends beyond fashion, beyond culture, beyond television, beyond a singular thing. It’s the same thing as us. The show is so big, it’s real entertainment, and I think she’s a great catalyst for that.”
He explained that “the big idea of the show was fandomonium,” adding, “It really created its own culture, which… how many people can say that?” Jenner has truly built a name for herself in the entertainment industry that extends far beyond her career as a reality TV star on The Kardashians.
