Last chance to save $10 on Zelda: Ocarina of Time Switch 2 pre-orders before launch – Nintendo Wire
We are officially in the final stretch! The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026And if you haven’t secured your copy yet, this may be your last chance to save money before release day.
Both Amazon and Walmart Still Offering $10 Off Ocarina of Time Remake Pre-Ordersbringing the price down from $69.99 to just $59.99. This is a pretty significant discount for one of Nintendo’s biggest upcoming releases, especially since the game hasn’t even launched yet.
But here’s the catch. With launch day fast approaching, there’s a good chance these pre-order discounts won’t last much longer. Prices usually return to the usual $69.99 on or before November 5, so if you’re planning to pick up the game anyway, this could be the last chance to get your discount.
And there’s another reason to consider pre-ordering now: both retailers are offering the limited edition foil covermaking this offering particularly attractive to Zelda collectors.

We’ve rounded up the remaining Ocarina of Time pre-order deals below, along with links to Nintendo’s Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 console and accessories. We’ve also included a few additional Switch 2 games that are still available at a discounted price.
Last chance to save $10 on Ocarina of Time Switch 2 pre-orders
With less than two weeks until launch, time is running out for one of the best pre-order deals we’ve seen since The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake.
Amazon and Walmart still list the game for $59.99, which is $10 off its usual price of $69.99. Both retailers are also offering the limited edition foil cover, so you won’t have to choose between saving money and getting the collectible packaging.
While there’s no official expiration date for either discount, we wouldn’t be surprised to see prices return to $69.99 once the game launches on November 5. If you’ve been delaying your pre-order, now is a good time to take advantage of the savings.
Switch 2 Zelda 40th Anniversary Console, Pro Controller and Carrying Case
Of course, the Ocarina of Time remake isn’t the only major Zelda release coming over the next few weeks. Nintendo is also preparing to launch its Nintendo Switch 2 console, Pro controller and Zelda 40th anniversary carrying case, October 30, 2026just days before Link’s latest adventure arrives.
Unfortunately, if you were hoping to get the limited edition console or Pro Controller, you’ve probably already noticed that pre-orders are hard to come by. Both items are currently sold out on Amazon and Walmart, although it’s still possible that additional inventory will become available closer to launch day.
However, the matching carrying case is still available at Walmart, making it one of the few birthday items you can currently secure without waiting for a restock.
Here are the retailer links for all three Zelda 40th Anniversary products.
Nintendo Switch 2 Zelda 40th Anniversary Console

The limited edition Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 console has been one of the most sought-after pieces of Nintendo hardware heading into the holidays. Initial pre-orders are already sold out at both major retailers, but as the October 30 release date approaches, it’s worth keeping an eye out for last-minute restocks.
Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Zelda 40th Anniversary Controller

For fans who already own a Switch 2, the Zelda 40th Anniversary Pro Controller offers another way to celebrate the series without purchasing a whole new console. Unfortunately, it’s been just as hard to find, with Amazon and Walmart currently out of stock.
With release day almost here, we recommend checking both listings regularly in case additional stock becomes available.
Nintendo Switch 2 Zelda 40th Anniversary Carrying Case

Fortunately, not all items in the Zelda 40th Anniversary Collection are sold out. The matching Nintendo Switch 2 Carrying Case is still available to order at Walmart, giving collectors another opportunity to grab a piece of the anniversary lineup ahead of launch.
We will continue to monitor availability on Amazon and Walmart as the October 30 release date approaches and will update this guide if additional Zelda 40th Anniversary stock becomes available.
More Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order deals: Save $10 on Metroid and Hyrule Warriors

Ocarina of Time isn’t the only upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 game currently available for less than its usual price. Amazon and Walmart are also offering $10 off two other anticipated releases, giving Nintendo fans a few more opportunities to save before the holiday season.
Just like the Zelda deal, these discounts may not last until launch day, so it’s worth checking if any of the games are already on your shopping list.
Metroid Ravenous – $59.99 ($10 off)
Samus Aran’s Next Adventure is also getting a pre-order discount. Voracious Metroid is currently available for just $59.99 on Amazon and Walmart, saving you $10 off the regular price.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Definitive Edition – $59.99 ($10 off)
If you want to add another Zelda adventure to your Switch 2 library, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Definitive Edition is also reduced before its release. Both retailers are offering the game for $59.99, which is $10 less than its usual price of $69.99.
With The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake launching on November 5, there’s not much time left to take advantage of these pre-order savings. If you’re planning to pick up the game at launch, grabbing it for $59.99 now could save you $10 off its regular retail price.
We’ll continue to update this guide with the latest Nintendo Switch 2 deals and Zelda 40th Anniversary restock information as launch day approaches. Don’t forget to check back for any last minute changes!
