Lawyers for Lindsay Clancy’s holdout juror reveal plans to file suit against Kevin Reddington
Lawyers for the lone holdout juror in Lindsay Clancy’s triple murder trial have revealed plans to file a bar complaint against the killer mother’s lawyer.
Lawyers for Michael Desronvil — the only juror who wanted to send the mother to prison for killing her three children, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months — said they plan to ask the bar association to investigate Clancy’s lawyer, Kevin Reddington, for allegedly singling out their client.
Reddington, 75, asked a judge to investigate Desronvil for potential misconduct, including whether he lied during his jury questionnaire and whether he used his cellphone during deliberations.
Tyler Cox, one of Desronvil’s attorneys, told Fox News host Sean Hannity, “We’re going to file a bar complaint.” »
“(Reddington) said all he did was file a motion. Well, even if you take that to be true, which obviously it’s not, the motion that he filed was unprecedented,” Cox said. “We don’t attack jurors that way, we don’t target them.”
At a hearing Tuesday for Clancy, an exasperated Reddington denied wrongdoing by filing a motion regarding Desronvil or making comments about him to the media.
“I’m tired of hearing that I persecute people,” the defense lawyer said in court.
On Monday, prosecutors asked Judge William Sullivan to impose a silence following Reddington’s public comments about the jury and Desronvil. The motion is expected to be discussed at Clancy’s next hearing on November 2.
Sullivan declared a mistrial on September 4, after jurors declared themselves hopelessly deadlocked in three notes of impasse.

Several panelists have since revealed that 11 of the 12 were willing to find Clancy not guilty by reason of insanity and claimed that Desronvil had doubts about the killer mother’s guilt, but refused to find her not criminally responsible.
However, Desronvil, 48, and his lawyers insist he was convinced of Clancy’s guilt and “had no doubt.”
The 36-year-old mother is accused of coldly planning and carrying out the strangulation of her three children with elastic bands at their home in Duxbury, Massachusetts, on January 24, 2023.
But Reddington claimed Clancy was suffering from severe postpartum psychosis at the time and heard a voice telling her to commit the murders and kill herself. The mother cut her wrists and neck, swallowed pills and threw herself from a second-story window, paralyzing herself in the fall.
Prosecutors have not revealed how they plan to move forward with the case and whether they will retry Clancy on the same first-degree murder charges she faced the first time, opt for lesser charges in a second trial, try to reach a plea deal with the defense or drop the case altogether.
Reddington did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
