LeBron James traveled in style after the Philadelphia 76ers scrimmage on Saturday.
TMZ Sports reported that he took off by helicopter for the roughly 45-minute trip from the Philadelphia area to New York after the scrimmage. The helicopter was also photographed:
The King splits his time between the two cities after joining the 76ers, and his helicopter was already a topic of discussion after Tuesday’s practice:
As for Saturday’s scrimmage, James told reporters: “Being able to take what we did on the practice field, bring it to a game situation around our fans… it was a big first step in the direction we’re trying to go.”
He’ll be in the spotlight throughout his first campaign with the 76ers, and it’s perhaps fitting that the team’s first preseason game Monday is against the New York Knicks given his travel schedule.
