According to TMZ’s report, which included photos and video of the 77-year-old wrestler on the sidewalk being treated by paramedics, Flair suffered a “nasty” fall while crossing the street after leaving the Wagamama bar and restaurant in Tampa. TMZ reported that Flair suffered cuts to his head and around his eye, his eye was “bleeding profusely” and it is also believed he may have suffered a concussion.
The incident occurred just hours after Flair canceled her appearance at a fan convention in Seattle due to a blood clot in her leg. In a social media post Friday, Flair referenced the current situation with Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, whose season recently ended due to the discovery of blood clots in his lungs, and said he would soon have to undergo a procedure to resolve the issue.
Flair says:
Unfortunately, I have a blood clot in my leg and my doctors have limited my trip to 3-4 hours. Seattle falls outside of that range, and as disappointed as I am, I need to prioritize my health and recovery.
Blood clots are extremely serious and can be life-threatening. We’ve seen this recently with Jalen’s injuries and complications involving blood clots in his lungs. This reminds me that this is not something to take lightly and that I should follow medical advice.
I need to undergo a procedure to remove the affected vein, which my doctors believe will allow me to be cleared to travel at a later date.
Please know that this decision was not taken lightly. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment, and I am incredibly grateful for your patience, understanding and continued support.
I look forward to being healthy and seeing you all on the road. Thank you for your love and support.
Flair is a two-time member of the WWE Hall of Fame and widely considered one of the greatest talents in professional wrestling history.

Flair’s daughter, WWE star Charlotte Flair, posted an update Friday night on social media saying her father is “going to be okay.”
It wasn’t my dad who told the doctor he fell because (Ultimate) Warrior dropped him on his head…
(ps: he will get through it)
