Dafne Keen talks about her time as a child actress, recalling being offered cocaine at wrap parties when she was just 11 years old.

During an appearance Tuesday on the Inside you podcast with Michael Rosenbaum, the topic of alcohol consumption came up. THE Logan The actress said: “I don’t think I’ve ever been drunk enough to have a hangover. I’m such a control freak with that. Because I also think that as a child actor, I witnessed so many things as a kid that I just had no interest.

“I was offered coke at late-night parties,” she recalls. When host Rosenbaum asked her how old she was when she was offered the substance, she replied, “Like, tiny. Like 11, 12, 13 years old. So I saw what it was, so I was like, ‘I’m not really interested in that…’ Luckily, I said no.”

Keen said she likes to go out “just for the vibe, just because I like the music, I like to dance and I like the people,” but she prefers to do it soberly. She also said she used to lie about being drunk when she went out so she wouldn’t be pressured into drinking.

“When I was a teenager, I used to lie to avoid peer pressure,” she said. “I was like, ‘No, I’m fine. I don’t want to drink. I already took something.” Sober as hell. Like, the best good two shoes ever.

THE Deadpool and Wolverine The actress also reflected on her time working alongside Hugh Jackman on Logan as Wolverine’s mutant clone/biological daughter, Laura/X-23.

“He gave me a lot of really positive reinforcement and a lot of really good advice. And he was always so lovely,” she said of Jackman. “He’s the best number one anyone could ask for, and he’s the best father on screen. He really felt like a sort of parental figure.

“He made sure no one was abusing my hours, that I was having fun on set, that I wasn’t aware of any tensions that might have been happening behind the scenes. He was incredibly protective and amazing,” she added.
