MAGA Star ‘Biggest Loser’ Jillian Michaels Reveals Brutal Truth About Republicans
MAGA Podcaster and Former The biggest loser Coach Jillian Michaels has issued a dire warning to Republicans ahead of the midterm elections.
After watching Fox News coverage of the midterm elections that discussed strong MAGA support for Donald Trump to possibly prevent a “blue wave,” Michaels said the problem was bigger than it seemed.
“They say MAGA is still very loyal to Trump, but MAGA is not a big percentage, not a big percentage, of the vote total, because it’s not the entire Republican Party,” Michaels said.
Speaking on his podcast, Keeping it realOn Friday, Michaels cited a Pew study that found 28 percent of voters identify as Republican, 29 percent as Democrat and 44 percent as independent, or something else.
Among independents, 43% lean Republican and 47% lean Democratic.
She also cited a University of Massachusetts Amherst survey that broke the Republican connection to Trump’s MAGA movement and found that 32 percent of Republican voters don’t identify with MAGA at all.
Trump, 80, has been a drag on the Republican Party in the run-up to the midterm elections, with his own poll numbers extremely low.
But his supporters were quick to point out his strong popularity within the party.
Michaels says it’s a mistake.
“I have to be honest, talking to people, I travel around the country a lot, people come up to me at airports, at restaurants, Uber drivers, and they talk to me. I meet a lot of Republican people who are not happy right now,” she said.
She highlighted a clip of Nicki Minaj on Lara Trump’s Fox News show. My point of view saying Republicans needed to make sure they got to the polls.
“The problem is just not having confidence, when they say, oh, MAGA is strong! MAGA is not the majority. And that’s why it’s important to understand what’s at stake,” Michaels said.
Reached for comment, White House spokesman David Ingle simply repeated the same arguments he gave to The Daily Beast in response to questions about Trump’s unpopularity among non-Republican voters.
“No one can dispute that President Trump has created one of the strongest coalitions in political history with the MAGA movement, and the president knows how to communicate with them. President Trump is the unequivocal leader, the best messenger and an unrivaled motivator for the Republican Party, and he is committed to maintaining Republican majorities in Congress,” he reiterated.
But Michaels argues that that’s not enough and that right-wing independents and non-MAGA Republicans simply won’t vote.
“They might not vote Democratic, but they might not vote at all, and that’s it. That’s the nail in the coffin if that’s the case.”
