Your fandom shouldn’t look like everybody else’s. And now it doesn’t have to — from the icon on your home screen to the avatar repping your team.

Three new ways to customize are coming to the Yahoo Sports Shop, all bought with the Points you earn playing:

Custom app icons. Swap the icon on your home screen for something new. The 2026 lineup mixes work from outside artists with a few Yahoo originals — including a Grass Keyboard for the people who take their fandom out of the house to wonderful places.

Animated avatars. Show off your fandom on your personal profile across the Yahoo Sports and Fantasy apps — and set one as your My Team avatar in Fantasy. These aren’t static: your avatar animates based on your win percentage in your current fantasy matchup, so it reflects how your team is actually doing.

Profile backgrounds. Choose the background that lives at the top of your profile and set the whole tone. Designed by artists, picked by you.

  • Designed for 2026. A mix of icons, avatars and backgrounds from outside artists plus a few Yahoo originals, like the Grass Keyboard.

  • Bought with Coins. Purchase everything in the Yahoo Sports Shop using the Points you earn.

  • Yours to switch. Once you own an icon, avatar, or background, apply it whenever you want — and change it whenever you want.
