ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating a fatal shooting Sunday afternoon.
Officers were called to Cushman Circle just before 1:45 p.m. for a person shot. When they arrived, they were told the victim had been taken to the hospital by a woman.
A short time later, officers were called to Pryor Road near University Avenue near JJ’s Fish and Chicken.

There they found a man who had been shot and killed. His name has not been released.
Investigators say the victims in these incidents were the same person. They believe he was shot in the area of Cushman Circle and driven to Pryor Road, where he was pronounced dead.
Police have not commented on the circumstances of the shooting or possible suspects.
