Washington’s commanders seemed overwhelmed.

Not only were they without quarterback Jayden Daniels as he recovers from his dislocated left elbow, but they were down six other starters. This would be difficult to overcome regardless of the opponent. Given that they were facing the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, Washington was at a particularly disadvantage.
