Medical practices charge patients 10 times more by posing as hospitals

As U.S. hospitals buy a growing share of U.S. doctors’ offices, patients pay a high cost: Routine medical care is often billed at the much higher rate of hospital care, instead of the lower cost of procedures in a doctor’s office.
