Meghan Markle’s Holiday Collection Imitates Buckingham Palace Products
Products from Meghan Markle’s new As Ever holiday collection look strikingly similar to Buckingham Palace’s 2026 hamper collection.
The Duchess of Sussex is launching a ‘Hostess Hamper’, featuring an As Ever leather tag and filled with several treats, including peppermint, lemon and ginger teas, different fruit spreads, floral decorations and scented candles.
Pricing for the wicker basket is not listed and it was listed as “coming soon” in Markle’s recently released As Ever newsletter.
Additionally, the “Suits” alum, 45, is also releasing a chocolate-filled Advent calendar ($148), created in collaboration with Los Angeles chocolatier Compartés, as well as a trio of chocolate bars and a double-decker parlor card game.
“The holidays have a way of reminding us how much joy can be found in the moments that make up a life,” the newsletter reads.
“They invite us to gather a little closer, to do things with our hands, to set the table with care and to give generously to the people we love,” the statement added.
“This season’s collection was created in the same spirit, with pieces to share, savor, gift and incorporate your own traditions.”
On Instagram, Markle reflected on her past and how far she’s come with her brand, saying, “When I was about eight years old, I started my own business making handmade scrunchies that I sewed on my grandmother’s Singer sewing machine and sold for $1 each.”
“I sold Girl Scout cookies, had lemonade stands, worked at a frozen yogurt shop and had countless other jobs. My entrepreneurial spirit was always there.”
“As I shared years ago on The Tig (PS, I love you ladies @thetiglets): ‘Behind every successful woman is herself’ – and that’s true…but there’s more: a loving community, a supportive team, an incredible team,” she continued. “As I pinch myself looking at how this brand has grown and we introduce our holiday collection, I feel very proud and grateful.”
“A big thank you to my team at @aseverofficial. I’m so proud of what we’re creating together. Thank you for helping bring this vision to life.”
Markle’s holiday collection comes weeks after Buckingham Palace launched its new range of royal wicker baskets.
The baskets – priced between $60 and $200 – are filled with a range of items, depending on the type you buy.
The Buckingham Palace Christmas Hamper ($192.50) is filled with a Christmas Gingerbread Chocolate Bar, Mini Ginger Shortbread, Chutney Gift Set, Tartlets, Orange and Chocolate Christmas Biscuits, Traditional Christmas Pudding and the Official Buckingham Palace Christmas Bauble 2026.
The Pamper Hamper ($185.88) includes items from the Bath and Body collection such as rose bath salts and crown-embroidered slippers.
The palace also sells a chocolate-filled Advent calendar ($15.93) where consumers can “experience 24 days of delicious milk chocolate behind each charming door.”
Page Six reached out to representatives for Buckingham Palace and Markle for comment, but did not immediately receive a response.
Markle has faced several public accusations of copying other brands in her lifestyle and media activities.
In 2025, the mother of two announced that she had officially changed her name from American Riviera Orchard to As Ever after overcoming branding hurdles.
In February of that year, Markle faced another hurdle after a New York clothing brand called As Ever spoke out, claiming it was aware of the actress’ new business name and was “not affiliated.”
“This journey began in 2015 when I reworked vintage army to make our signature tanker pants for my wife, Astrid Dahl, as a side hobby. It was followed by a pink jumpsuit that quickly became a cult classic,” small business owner Mark Kolski said on Instagram.
Eagle-eyed fans also pointed out the striking similarities between Markle’s Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan,” and Pamela Anderson’s Flavor Network cooking series, “Pamela’s Cooking With Love.”
