Barron’s Roundtable panelists discuss Meta’s latest advances in artificial intelligence.
Meta on Tuesday unveiled a version of its artificial intelligence (AI) agent Muse for small businesses.
The release of Muse for Small Business follows Meta’s launch of personal AI agent Muse earlier this month. Agentic AI can perform tasks autonomously based on instructions provided by the user, developing projects in multiple stages and working on connected applications or services relevant to a given task.
Meta said Muse can suggest an idea, help with a task, or provide guidance to achieve a goal. Users can also connect Muse to other apps or services to give it more context or perform more actions.
The company said Agent Muse can help small businesses with tasks such as developing a growth plan for next year after analyzing sales and social media data as well as business goals.

The Muse app runs in its own isolated space without requiring supervision and checks in with the user before they decide to post, send, spend or share.
Muse can also view a small business executive’s calendar, ideas, feed, and news to identify what’s important to the user and what the Muse agent can remove from their calendar.
It can also perform tasks such as using existing ad content and analyzing top-performing content and industry trends to write a week’s worth of posts and a new ad campaign for the small business owner to review.

Meta said Muse is free for most services that individuals and small businesses need, as the company seeks to “put superintelligence in the hands of as many people as possible.”
Other apps and services can work with Meta to be available through the platform’s connected tools. These include commonly used business accounts, such as Facebook Pages, Instagram Business Account Analytics, and Meta Ad Accounts; as well as brand management, storefront, books and customer files.
Muse can also support custom connectors so small businesses can connect services that Meta does not currently support on the platform.
