Mia Goth reportedly filed for divorce from Shia LaBeouf. By PeopleCourt documents indicate they have been separated since July 28, 2025, and Goth cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the separation.
Although it’s unclear exactly how long Goth and LaBeouf were officially married, they were together on and off after meeting on the set of Nymphomaniac in 2012. In 2016, they were reportedly engaged and were photographed in a Las Vegas ceremony with an Elvis impersonator – Nevada’s Clark County later tweeted that they were not legally married but had performed an engagement ceremony. They split again in 2018, when a rep for LaBeouf said they filed for divorce, after which LaBeouf dated singer FKA Twigs for a year. They appeared to reconcile in 2020 and welcomed their daughter, Isabel, in 2022.
In February, People reported that Goth and LaBeouf had been separated for about a year. “Their relationship has always been complicated. They didn’t get along and had a lot of drama last year,” an anonymous source told the outlet. “She loves him, but she doesn’t need him either. She’s very independent. She has her own life, her own career and her priority is their daughter.” According to PeopleGoth has requested primary custody of their daughter and is also asking to terminate the court’s ability to award child support to herself or LaBeouf.
