Michael Douglas shares a rare update on Jack Nicholson, who has largely stayed out of the spotlight in recent years.
During an appearance to promote his memoir A hell of a ride in Swansea, the Basic instinct The actor was asked about his relationship with Nicholson.
“I would have loved to play with Jack,” Douglas said, according to The Independent. “He doesn’t work anymore. He’s fine. He’s missing. I know that.”
He added: “I still see him, but he’s fine. He’s up there by his house and walking around in his slippers. It happens. He deserves it. I understand. He’s a few years older than me, but I understand.”
Douglas is 82 years old and Nicholson is 89 years old. The two actors only collaborated professionally in 1975. We flew over a cuckoo’s nestwhich Douglas produced and in which Nicholson starred.
