Milania Giudice breaks silence during arrest, reveals multiple mental health diagnoses in raw video
Milania Giudice broke her silence on the “worst” summer of her life, while revealing multiple mental health diagnoses in a raw Instagram video posted Monday.
Starting the video by describing herself as a “raw and authentic” person, she publicly apologized for not using her platform the way she wanted.
“You’ve been through the worst times of my life and this has been the worst time of my life,” she said, referring to her recent arrest for domestic violence, as well as her airport confrontation with her mother, Teresa Giudice, and older sister, Gia Giudice.
Milania, 20, later admitted to “struggling” with her mental health, noting: “I’m bipolar, I struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD and ADHD.”
“And I’m not ashamed of any of my mental health disorders and I’m working on myself,” she added, before revealing that she is currently in a treatment center.
The University of Tampa student went on to say that the summer hit her “like a bus” and she was “trying to deal with everything.”
“And it’s really hard to be in the public spotlight while going through things in life, so I just want to say I’m sorry because I grew up with pure respect, love and I just didn’t show the Milania that I want to show and I want to do better and I’m trying to completely change everything I posted because I want to help people in life.”
The Bravolebrity ended the video — which she captioned “be real, be honest, be you” — by blowing a kiss to the camera.
In August, Page Six exclusively reported that Milania had enrolled in anger management classes weeks after being arrested for domestic violence.
The student was charged with one count of simple assault for the May incident, Montville Township Police Chief Andrew Caggiano said in a news release.
Last month, Milania got into a heated exchange with Teresa, 54, and Gia, 25, while they were at Tampa International Airport.
At the start of the clip, the trio were surrounded by cops as they walked through the terminal. At one point, Milania told her mother to “shut up!” »
In body camera footage obtained exclusively by Page Six, cops questioned whether Milania might be a “danger to herself” and said she “just got out of (ten) a Baker Act facility.”
Teresa said her daughter may have had fentanyl in her system during the explosive airport encounter.
Page Six exclusively reported that Milania was “under professional care” following the incident.
“Milania is deeply loved by her family and friends, and we are all doing everything we can to support her as she goes through an incredibly difficult time in her life, especially after the devastating loss of her best friend, Victoria,” the reality star’s manager and longtime family friend, Maria DeSantis, told us in a statement.
Milania’s father, Joe Giudice, exclusively told us that his daughter has been privately dealing with the loss of her close friend Victoria Zardoya, who died in July.
Teresa said Milania was also “experiencing enormous grief and psychological trauma” after her great-grandmother died two months after Zardoya.
Last week, Milania apologized to her mother on her Instagram Stories.
The “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” star shares four daughters — Gia, Gabriella, 22, Milania and Audriana, 17 — with her first husband, Joe Giudice.
Teresa married Luis Ruelas – who shares two sons with his first wife, Marisa DiMartino – in August 2022.
