Misfits Boxing Live Results: Henry Cejudo vs. Javon Walton Round-by-Round Updates, Tonight’s Fight Highlights

Cejudo looked solid and patient, but Walton has some snap with him. Cejudo looked more comfortable as the round progressed, but it was a close first round.

And yet here it is. What a world of wonders we find ourselves in.

If you’ve been waiting to see one of the most decorated combat sports athletes of all time take on a guy from “Euphoria,” your time has come. It’s about to drop in Misfits Boxing.

He asked as if he seriously wanted to know. Like he was meeting a fan and wanted to be polite.

Mike Tyson’s son is quite a figure in the fighting world. Amir Tyson says he’ll debut in December, then gets into a heated exchange with shirtless Chase Demoor, who repeatedly tells him “you’re not your daddy.”

There’s never a dull moment, right?

Ferguson knows how to put on a show. You’re backed into a corner and you better believe the storm is coming.

Ferguson went from dropping out of nowhere in the first to hitting Sebie late in the first, leading to a stoppage in the second.

Sebie was doing reasonably well until he appeared to pull away and stop fighting in the final seconds of the first. Ferguson cracked him with a good right just before the bell, but Sebie came out in the second and hurt Ferguson for a while.

But then Ferguson turned it on and the referee intervened at 0:42 of the second round, giving Ferguson the TKO victory.

Sebie is a late replacement after Ferguson’s original opponent was pulled less than a week ago. Nothing to Lose is one way to think about it. No chance to really prepare is another.

One thing we can usually count on from Ferguson: He’s willing to get weird. Always.

Justin “JoyBoy” Ibarrola looked happy to make it to the final bell. Fox the G started fast and really put the pedal to the metal in the final round. The decision was never really in doubt, with two judges considering it a clear cut decision.

After the fight, “Felony” Charles Bennett appeared to materialize inside the ring so he could challenge Fox The G, who was mostly just amused by the whole thing.

We’re four rounds in and former BKFC champion Joyboy is looking fragile. Fox the G has rocked it multiple times and is probably high on the scorecards. The hour of despair is approaching for Joyboy.

That is to say, it’s not technically “good” by any means, but it is strangely entertaining. You know, in small doses.

And would you believe these people are called Joyboy and Fox The G? It’s true. In a way, it’s true. This looks like a competitive Misfits lightweight title fight halfway through the first round.

Apparently dad thinks they’re bad dads? And now he wants to face them in a boxing match? Eh. All right.

Two guys swinging for the fences in the first round leads to a totally exhausted man in the second and a man just very tired. Dad ends up being the one with the most in the tank after dropping Cherdleys in the first, and he eventually racks up enough unanswered shots to get the ref involved.

Is Dad doing a classic pro wrestling psycho gimmick? He is. Did he decide to wear khaki shorts for this fight? He did it. This should be interesting.

The minute Dawson Myles Barrett entered the ring, you could see this coming. And yes, it happened.

And I mean colllld. Barrett looked very stiff and uncertain in the first round, but still managed to land a few punches. But early in the second, he walked right into a Russell right hand and it was night-night.

Both men make their Misfits debut here. One looks much more relaxed than the other.

It also seems that he may not have been a man whose training prepared him to fall and get up again. After the fight, he repeatedly told ENA that he was “lucky” that his leg injury occurred. Well, someone got lucky, anyway.
