Moft’s new origami case adds a kickstand and handle to the iPhone Duo
Originally launched in early 2025 as an accessory for the iPad, Moft has redesigned its Dynamic Folio into an iPhone Duo case that does more than just protect Apple’s foldable phone. You can use it to prop the Duo at several different angles for hands-free use, or reconfigure the Dynamic Folio’s origami-style screen cover and use it as a finger grip while you hold the phone.
The new Dynamic Folio Case for iPhone Duo is now available for pre-order on Moft’s online store for $89.99 in Navy Blue or Misty Cove plus Sapphire color options, with shipping expected to begin in mid-December. It’s a small price increase over Moft’s $69.99 Dynamic Folio, but while that accessory magnetically attaches to the back of the Duo for easier removal, the new version of the case is designed to securely attach to the phone while providing additional protection for the back and front and back edges of Apple’s foldable.
Both versions of the Dynamic Folio help protect the iPhone Duo’s exterior screen from scratches while it’s in your bag or pocket, but this case also folds in multiple ways to function as a kickstand supporting the Duo in landscape or portrait orientation. It can even hold the Duo reclined in “Lounge” mode so you can use the phone more comfortably hands-free while lying in bed, or it can work as an alternative to PopSockets, although it doesn’t feel as comfortable to hold as those popular grips.
