Netanyahu releases AI image of nuclear bomb hitting Tel Aviv and warns of ‘second Holocaust’ if not elected; Eisenkot: He is hysterical
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released an AI-generated image Sunday showing a nuclear explosion in Tel Aviv, warning the public just two days before the election that voting for anyone other than him could expose Israelis to the danger of a “second Holocaust.”
Netanyahu echoed the comments of Yuval Bloomberg, a right-wing activist from the technology sector who wrote a book against the Oslo Accords. Bloomberg’s post, written last week, included an image of a large mushroom cloud rising over Tel Aviv as the city burned following a nuclear explosion.
Israel faces a “real and tangible existential threat,” the message shared by Netanyahu said.
“If the Iranians acquire nuclear weapons, nothing else will matter. Everything becomes insignificant in the face of the existential threat posed by Iran and the Shiite axis.”
The post goes on to say that controversies surrounding the government, including the Qatargate affair and efforts to pass a law that would enshrine ultra-Orthodox flight from conscription, are “a giant smokescreen designed to hide the one problem that towers above all others.”
“If two atomic bombs fell on central Israel, who would care about all the senseless controversies? he asked.
Here are:

The message asserts that Israel has a limited window of opportunity to confront Iran as long as US President Donald Trump remains in power, warning that future generations “will not forgive us if we miss this historic window of opportunity.”
He also warned that voters risk exposing their families to the “danger of a second Holocaust” if they elect a leader incapable of confronting Iran, implying that only Netanyahu is up to the task.
The message shared by Netanyahu contradicts the prime minister’s repeated insistence that Israel and the United States have devastated Iran’s nuclear program during the 2025 and 2026 conflicts with Tehran. Netanyahu told the UN last month that “we have devastated Iran’s atomic weapons” over the past year. The Israeli leader also said in a statement in March that following the Israeli strikes, Iran could “no longer threaten our existence.”
Netanyahu has recently been accused by critics of pushing for a resumption of war against Iran to influence or delay the Oct. 27 vote — a charge he has denied. IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir reportedly said in a recent private meeting that he saw no operational need to strike Iran before the election.

Netanyahu has also reportedly asked Trump in recent days to once again publicly express support for his re-election campaign. An Israeli source briefed on the matter told the Axios news site that Netanyahu had asked Trump to speak to Israeli journalists to emphasize his support.
A US source told the outlet that the Trump administration viewed the request as a “sign of desperation”. Trump gave Netanyahu his “complete and total support” a week ago, breaking with precedent.
The opposition denounces a “hysterical” Prime Minister
In response to Netanyahu’s message about the “second Holocaust,” Yashar party chairman and election frontrunner Gadi Eisenkot lashed out at the prime minister, accusing him of sowing fear ahead of Tuesday’s vote.
“Netanyahu, you are hysterical,” Eisenkot wrote on X. “As in every election campaign, it’s the same method of lies and scare tactics. This time, threatening Israeli citizens with mass destruction,” he said. “And this after you failed to achieve the objectives of the war in Iran.
“You have failed. And in two days, the people of Israel will prove it to you at the ballot box,” he added.

Also responding to Netanyahu’s post, Democratic President Yair Golan wrote on
“On Tuesday, we will replace those who are sowing panic and restore security and sanity to Israel,” he added.
“This is the vision that (Netanyahu) paints for our children,” said B’Yachad President Naftali Bennett in his response to the post on
“The State of Israel was born and developed long before him, and will continue long after him. The people of Israel are stronger than any politician,” Bennett added. “But he is right about one thing: his government is truly leading us to economic, social, political and security destruction. »
Opposition leader Yair Lapid, Bennett’s No. 2 on B’Yachad’s list, said Netanyahu was essentially telling citizens that Israel “is in danger of destruction, which is why (he) decided to forgo American security aid, submit to sanctions that will destroy the economy and keep all Qatari agents in (his) office.”
“All in all, it makes sense,” Lapid joked.
