There’s a lot going on in Italy this week, with the Patek Philippe Watch Art Grand Exhibition and Milano Watch Week both happening in Milan at the same time. Several limited editions and one-off pieces emerged from the premiere, aiming to both showcase what Patek is capable of and channel the Italian way of life through the watches themselves. Patek Philippe World Time Minute Repeater Milan 2026

  • Among the numerous editions dedicated to the Great Exhibition of Watchmaking Art in Milan, Patek Philippe unveils two World Time Minute Repeaters 5531 in white gold, with cloisonné enamel dials representing Milan by day and night.
  • The 40.2 mm and 11.49 mm thick case features a hand-guilloché Clous de Paris middle, openwork lugs and two interchangeable backs (solid gold or sapphire) engraved “Patek Philippe Milano 2026”.
  • The R27 HU automatic caliber combines the world time display with a minute repeater that sounds the local city time located at 12 o’clock.

  • The dial uses 1.17ct of VS2 pavé diamonds against onyx, on Dennison’s signature slim lugless case, worn on a black alligator strap with a diamond-set buckle.
  • A Ronda quartz movement powers all three, preserving the slim proportions of the case.

  • The hand-wound in-house caliber AMW21 uses an inverted motor barrel for a 100-hour reserve in a compact 33.5mm x 4.2mm format, with 97% components manufactured by Armin Strom.
