There is just one game left to play in Week 7. The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles will close out the week Monday night, as the division rivals play for the first time this season.

The match will cap another eventful week of football, surprisingly free of major injuries… for the most part.

Besides the devastating loss of Carolina Panthers offensive lineman Taylor Moton, most of the marquee players made it through Week 7 relatively healthy. San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey gave Fantasy managers a scare after missing time in the team’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons, but was able to return and said he would be “fine” after the game.

With injuries out of the spotlight, the most interesting development in Week 7 might come from the Las Vegas Raiders. After the team’s loss, Raiders coach Klint Kubiak seemed to hint that a quarterback change could be coming soon. Kubiak said the team would reevaluate “everything,” even though veteran Kirk Cousins played well.

The Packers are dealing with injuries and insults after their Week 7 loss to the Lions. During the contest, the Packers lost center Sean Rhyan to an injury that could last several weeks.

Rhyan reportedly has a sprained ankle, according to NFL Network. If this were confirmed, the center would miss several weeks to recover from the problem.

Rhyan will undergo an MRI on Monday to evaluate the injury.

The Green Bay Packers weren’t happy with some late penalties in a loss to the Detroit Lions.

After the game, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur attempted to take the high road, saying “tough decisions” were made in the contest.

Safety Xavier McKinney was much more vocal, saying there was a lot of “shit that doesn’t make sense.” And that the officials are making it more difficult for the Packers.

While Green Bay dealt with a few shaky calls in the game, the most egregious was a rough passer call that broadcaster Tom Brady disagreed with at the time. Brady called the penalty “absolutely not brutalizing the passer.”

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey worried fantasy managers in Week 7, briefly letting the team lose to the Atlanta Falcons due to a hamstring injury.

McCaffrey was able to return to action, but only had 39 rushing yards in the loss.

After the contest, McCaffrey said he was frustrated at having to deal with the issue, but added that he would be “fine,” according to CBS Sports.

“I have no idea. It sucks, because I feel like I was going to run there, and my leg died,” CMC said. “I was trying to keep going the rest of the game, but it sucks trying to play like that.”

He added some assurances about his health, saying: “I know everything will be fine, but it’s just really frustrating.”

With McCaffrey sidelined, rookie Kaelon Black managed to score his first NFL touchdown. Black should continue to work harder if McCaffrey finds himself limited by the injury.

Kirk Cousins’ tenure as the Las Vegas Raiders’ starting quarterback may be coming to an end.

After another loss in Week 7, Raiders coach Klint Kubiak said after the game that the team was “thinking about everything” moving forward, according to ESPN.

“I think at this point we’re thinking about everything to solve our problems, how to solve our problems in the red zone, in the third quarter, the personnel (and) the plan,” Raiders coach Klint Kubiak said, via ESPN’s Ryan McFadden. “We need to talk about all of this.”

Despite a pretty good performance from Cousins this season and a late surge Sunday afternoon, the Raiders lost a fourth straight game this week and now sit just 3-4. It’s a stark change from the team that won three straight games to open the season.

With No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza waiting in the wings, this could be a good time to put the rookie to work and see what he can offer the franchise in the future.
