Surprise! Nintendo had launched a Nintendo Direct presentation for Pikmin Day. Yes, that’s right, Pikmin Day.
As of this year, Nintendo officially refers to November 1 as “Pikmin Day” – three as three Pikmin, you know? We don’t really do it, but yeah! Pikmin!
There’s nothing to report in terms of gaming news in this one, with the Direct featuring another preview of Pikmin 4 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, Pikmin Bloom and much more.
It also gave us our first look at Hello Pikmin, a new series of shorts that Nintendo will release monthly, the first of which arrives tomorrow.
Honestly, it’s a bit of a nothing burger, but if you’re as big a Pikmin fan as we are, then there are plenty of smiles to be had here. You can watch the full presentation above.
