Nor’easter discovers remains of shipwreck on Nantucket

The nor’easter that hit the East Coast this weekend unearthed a fragment of maritime history on the small island of Nantucket, Massachusetts.

She washed up on a new piece of wreckage, which historians believe is likely the three-masted wooden schooner Warren Sawyer, built in 1869 and wrecked on the island on December 22, 1884.
