Apple has listed an unreleased iPad mini Smart Folio on its French regulatory website, hinting that a new iPad mini is coming. The case’s model number A3632 does not match current or past iPad mini cases.
Apple appears to have recently added the case to its website, and it’s listed alongside iPhone 18 Pro accessories added in September.
The list doesn’t include any iPad mini specifications, but it does suggest design changes to the device it’s intended for, as a new Smart Folio may mean current cases won’t fit the upcoming iPad mini.
Rumors suggest that the iPad mini 8 with an OLED display and more water-resistant design will be introduced on October 27 or 28 alongside an OLED MacBook Pro. The A3632 Smart Folio could be aimed at the OLED iPad mini.
