Outgoing CNN anchor Bianna Golodryga is in talks to join Politico, The Post has learned.

The discussions come as the newspaper announced his departure on Thursday.

“After nine wonderful years at CNN, I decided to leave for an opportunity I couldn’t pass up,” she wrote on X.

Golodryga hasn’t revealed her next destination, but sources familiar with the matter told the Post she could be headed to the beloved online outlet inside the Beltway.

CNN anchor Bianna Golodryga announced Thursday that she is leaving the network after nine years. CNN

Politico could not be reached for comment.

Golodryga is also in talks to join CBS News as a contributor, according to Variety.

“I am grateful for the experiences, friendships and support of fabulous colleagues during my years at CNN,” she wrote in her post.

“Exciting news to share very soon! »

A CNN spokesperson confirmed to the Post that network boss Mark Thompson announced Golodryga’s departure to staff Thursday morning ahead of his social media post.

The network representative told the Post that her last day was Friday. She should sign at the end of her show.

Zain Asher, his co-anchor on “One World,” will remain as anchor after his departure, the network representative told the Post.

Golodryga’s departure marks the second high-profile departure from CNN announced this week, following Monday’s surprise announcement that veteran international correspondent Christiane Amanpour would leave the network after 43 years.

Amanpour, 68, CNN’s chief international anchor, said she would step away from her daily program at the end of the year but would continue to host a weekly show until May before leaving in June 2027.

The departures come just over two weeks after Paramount Skydance completed its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery on October 6, bringing CNN and CBS News under the same umbrella.

The media giant, now known simply as Skydance, is led by David Ellison, son of Oracle billionaire Larry Ellison.
