The Patriots saw three of their starting offensive linemen injured in last Sunday’s win over the Jets and it appears they will be without at least two of them when they face the Bears on Thursday.
Head coach Mike Vrabel said in a press conference Tuesday that right guard Ben Brown and left guard Alijah Vera-Tucker were likely to miss the game. Brown injured his knee and Vera-Tucker injured his hamstring.
Right tackle Morgan Moses suffered a foot injury and the Patriots estimated he would have been limited during Monday’s practice. Vrabel said Moses has a chance to play this week.
Backups Caleb Lomu, Matt Pryor and Walter Rouse were all thrust into action against the Jets and the Patriots will likely bolster this group as they were one injury away from playing someone out of position in Week 6.
