Peace in Iran was made more difficult by the elimination of Iranian leaders, laments Trump
President Donald Trump on Wednesday blasted a suspected leaker whom he accused of revealing the departure and arrival times of U.S. bombers before planned strikes on Iran, saying the disclosure compromised the mission and saying “the leakers should be shot.”
“There were two weeks, and we sent in these beautiful B-2s — the wings. You know, the wings that carry really big bombs and are totally stealthy.”
“And they went over there and we were waiting for them,” Trump said at a rally in Arizona. “I mean, Iran was waiting for them, and they never got to see it – 1 a.m., they flew over and, you know, someone fled, a sordid bag.
“They should go to jail. But they leaked that we were leaving Missouri at 12:07 p.m.
“And it was in the New York Times and on CNN that they leaked the time we were leaving, the time we were arriving.”
