Pregnant Savannah Chrisley’s New Fiancé Identified as Jason Galanis, Fraudster Released by Trump and Linked to Hunter Biden
Savannah Chrisley’s new fiancé has been identified as convicted fraudster Jason Galanis, 27 years her senior.
Us Weekly confirmed her identity on Tuesday after Chrisley revealed she was expecting her first child with a much older mystery man.
Although the reality star, 29, tried to keep Galanis, 56, out of the spotlight, he had already made headlines when President Donald Trump commuted his prison sentence to March 2025.
In September 2020, he was sentenced to more than 14 years in prison for his role in two schemes, including one that defrauded a Native American tribe and investors out of tens of millions of dollars.
In addition to the prison sentence, Galanis, who was once dubbed “the new king of porn,” was ordered to forfeit approximately $80 million in proceeds and pay an equal amount in restitution.
Galanis was a Hunter Biden associate who testified in the impeachment inquiry of former President Joe Biden in March 2024 while he was still behind bars.
Although the White House did not explain why Galanis was pardoned, Trump’s order absolved him of financial sanctions and required him to serve the remainder of his prison sentence.
Savannah’s parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were pardoned by Trump in May 2025.
The former “Chrisley Knows Best” reality stars were convicted in June 2022 of conspiring to defraud banks and evade federal taxes.
Todd, 57, was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison in November 2022, while Julie, 53, was sentenced to seven years.
Both were also ordered to supervised release after prison, a requirement removed by their 2025 presidential pardon.
Although it’s unclear how Savannah and Galanis met, Savannah became involved in Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign largely through her fight to free her parents from prison.
Her family’s legal troubles pushed her to advocate for criminal justice reform, and her support for Trump helped her gain access to prominent Republican circles.
The reality star announced her pregnancy news via Instagram on Tuesday.
“I prayed for this life. I cried for this life. And there were times when I really wondered if this life would ever be mine. 🥹🤍,” she captioned a video in which she showed off her growing baby bump.
Without naming him, she called Galanis her “protector” and “fierceest fighter,” as well as “the most loyal person.”
In the latest episode of her podcast “Unlocked,” Savannah also defended their large age gap, saying she “doesn’t care” about the “brutal” criticism.
“I always said, ‘I would rather (have) 20 phenomenal, incredible years with someone than 50 (beautiful) years,'” she insisted.
